She can transfer his thoughts, visions and emotions with infinite ease through paper, canvas and human skin. A talented painter, but also a tatto artist with Armenian roots, Monika Sarkisjevna Petrosian, or ZRENKA, loves the freedom she experiences through her work.

Perhaps surprisingly for some, Zrenka also uses her sense of smell for her work. It evokes actions and reactions, memories and evokes different moods in her.

Zrenka dazzled us with her charming personality and her perception of on the world. And last but not least - as an artist! That is why we invited her to our ORACULUM project.

Get to know Zrenka better by reading the following lines.

  1. Hi Zrenka, tell us a little about yourself and what you do.

My name is Monika Sarkisjevna Petrosian aka Zrenka. I am a Slovak Armenian living in Prague. My job is a dream. I have the opportunity to convey my thoughts, visions and emotions through paper, canvas or human skin.

2. Which human sense is the most important to you and why?

The sense of smell! Although I don't have the absolute best, scents or smells evoke actions-reactions, memories and moods in me. I also like to look at everything in order to "understand" the material.

3. What inspires you the most in your work?

I am most inspired by the world as such. Mother Nature is the greatest artist and inspiration in her own right. I love the creative freedom I have. I also need to mention how grateful I am about the people around me. Thanks to them, I am where I am, even if sometimes I don't know where exactly it is, but I feel good there. I can also inspire myself when I get a good night's sleep or eat :).

4. How would you describe your creation of fragrances?

Like disinfection.

5. How did you first meet the ORACULUM brand? What do you like most about her? Do you have a favorite item in the range?

ORACULUM - first I met Renata. The owner and founder of the brand. Well, the love for its products is equal to the love for itself. She is my good friend and I appreciate that a lot.

6. If you imagine yourself as a perfume, what essence will we smell?

Me like a perfume?

Head - raspberries with honey
Heart - blushes of a summer evening
Base - volcanic dust from Stromboli

7. What does beauty mean to you?

Beauty. Everyone perceives beauty differently. For me, beauty is when I wake up in the morning and the sun is shining outside, I play some music and dance in the kitchen for an hour or two. I will prepare for a beautiful day. Beauty is when I feel good. Beauty is when me and everyone around me are healthy. It's a big cliché, but when we're healthy, everything is beautiful, isn't it?!

8. And finally, what are your visions and plans for the future?

My plans for the future are simple. Be the best version of yourself. However it may be perceived, being honest, loving and free with myself is my greatest and lifelong plan. Quite simply, I like to enjoy the little things of everyday life.
