There are people who enter a room quietly, yet instantly fill it. Otakar is exactly that type. An emotional person with a sense of humor, obsessed with aesthetics, fashion, and slightly bizarre punchlines that make him a character who could easily star in his own fashion show.

His journey into fashion didn't start with design studies or internships in Paris. It emerged during the pandemic, a period when the world stood still, but his inner need to create was just beginning to breathe. "All my life, I felt I had something to say in fashion," he simply describes. And perhaps this honesty explains why his brand VIRULENT never took the path of glitz, but of authenticity.

If he were to have a fashion avatar, it would be Lucas Pinheiro Braathen. The Brazilian skier who moves between sport, couture energy, and absolute freedom of style. Otakar's own "signature look" is neither a trick nor a calculation. It's an approach: to live life by his own rules, without major boundaries. In fashion and beyond.

And what does it look like when a person who lives between the runway and humor slows down? Surprisingly mundane. "At home, Netflix, reality TV. And tennis." This admission could easily be a campaign for normalizing creative rest, and it says more about Otakar than any statement: his world is largely about performance, but an equally large part is simple joy.

For him, scents are not an accessory. They are an extension of identity. "They help me express who I am. Scent is an experience, not a product," he explains. Therefore, it's no surprise that for three years he hasn't put down KATARZIST, a scent that carries his energy, determination, and peculiar tenderness.

And then there's Christmas. And the scent that takes him back: cinnamon, cloves, and burnt grease. Not romance, but the reality of home. Authentic, a little chaotic, unmistakable. Just like him.

Today, Otakar stands at the imaginary threshold of another chapter. His first store has already fulfilled its mission. And new adventures await around the corner. This story is not about closing doors, but about some people simply moving faster than the space around them.

And one detail is clear: when Otakar creates something, it's always worth paying attention to.
